The Wiffers are putting up a challenge to do something in May. You set your goals. Then you work to meet them. Simple, right? Well, sure. If you set simple goals.
I don’t think I can commit to writing 50,000 words in May (like Karen). But I can commit, with other writers like Melina, to something. But what, exactly?
May has 31 days. I’m traveling for 4 of them. Plus, life gets in the way. I want to challenge myself to 25,000 words. But that’s still a lot. But what’s a goal if it doesn’t require stretching? 25k it is. I will write 25k words starting at midnight tonight and ending by 11:59:59 on May 31. We won’t get into decimal seconds. I will be writing on my current work-in-progress romantic-comedy lovers-reunited story. I will also quilt and plot/plan for other stories, because creativity can’t be corralled, but I will write straight-up story.

Yeah!
I’m going in with some words. I intend to count everything I’ve already written. Its not NaNo, so I can. See you around!

We kicked it during NaNo will kick it during May Marathon. Look forward to getting words on page with the Wiffers again.

25K sounds like a pretty great goal to me. NaNo is about the only time I’ll risk aiming for more!
Good luck!

Sounds very reasonable to me!
A romantic comedy/reunion story? My all time favorite!
Good luck!

Hooray for your goals! When’s your post about the crime weekend? Curious minds are wondering…

Soon, I hope. I was waiting for pictures from one of the women I met there, but I may post just with what I have and add hers if I get them later.
