Fresh Produce Up North

It’s taken me a while to find all these photos, since my system for storing digital photos is, shall we say, erratic. Click the photos for larger versions, especially the vampire one.

Taunt the Dog

It’s worth teaming up to make this more effective. Neither cat has much interest in the great outdoors, but Cody hates being left outside when he has deemed that it’s time to come in. I think the cats know this.

Practice Your Vampire Face

Be careful, or your face might freeze that way.

Play Games

I guess my cats (read: Lila) like to play Pick Up Sticks, as evidenced by their homemade version of the game, which I found on my basement floor. About four feet below where the “sticks” (aka spaghetti) had previously been stored on a pantry shelf.

Um, I didn’t ask for details.

Play with Water

Lila loves to play in the tub with the water just barely dripping from the faucet. She’s also fascinated with a tub full of bubbly bath water, but she’s learned to be cautious there after falling halfway in at a pretty young age. Every time I take a bath I wonder if this will be the time that she lets her guard down and splashes all the way in.

Sleep

It’s a necessity after all that activity. I think it’s adorable that Tabby’s favorite resting spot is across Tim’s wrists while he uses his laptop. Just look at the paw-stretch action. Tim for some reason finds it less adorable. Something about wrist pain, cramping, and difficulty typing. Blah, blah, blah.

Lila will sprawl out just about anywhere to sleep, but rarely on or next to a human. Curled up into Cody, on the other hand, is one of her favorite places to be.
