Yep, she did. Right here.
Yeah, I’m not so experienced with the tagging, but I’m game. I guess I’m supposed to do this:
- Pick up the nearest book.
- Open to page 123.
- Find the fifth sentence.
- Post the next three sentences.
- Tag five people and post a comment to the person who tagged you once you’ve posted your three sentences Just a note here - I’m not tagging anyone. Take it away if you so desire.
I don’t know about nearest book (I’ve got maybe 200 in this room, and they’re all near enough), but I chose Karen Rose’s You Can’t Hide. I haven’t started reading this book yet, but it’s on my pile because Karen told Lani Diane Rich that she needs more dead people in her stories, or something like that. Now, I love Lani’s stories, but I also love dead people in stories, so . . .
Like Pam, I’m unsure of what is technically desired by the above rules. I counted the fifth full sentence, then posted the sixth, seventh, and eighth sentences, which are:
Patrick shrugged. “I might be twitchy if I was planning to kill two people. But it doesn’t feel right to me either.”
Hmmm. That sounds pretty interesting. I need to read this soon!

Aww–thanks! I think I’m going to have to work out my philosophy on this whole tagging thing, too. However, it did work because you have a great tag–killing people? Sam would be so proud!

I’ve been meaning to pick up one of her books.
“A heart as black as coal,” she said.
I can relate to the dead people - I have a rather high body count - but I’m not sure about the coal part…

Pam - I don’t mind being tagged, but just don’t feel comfortable doing it. It seems a lot of people are that way, but somehow tags keep going around.
Ilana - Well, hopefully only figuratively as black as coal.
