East Coast Walk - The Beginning Pam Tagged Me
May 13

One of these days I’d like to do a post introducing each of our pets, but that will take a little more prep time. But for now, a little more Lila cuteness to entertain you. And for those wanting a follow-up to the Lila Meets George saga, I’m sorry to report that George still hasn’t been back up on our front stoop when we’ve had the door open. But I’m trying to remember to keep the camera happy, just in case he stops by.

Last night, Lila decided that exploring this paper bag would be a fun activity. It only had a book in it, so there was plenty of room for Lila to climb on in.

Unfortunately, as time went on and Lila’s interest progressed to eating the bag, the bag’s position became much more precarious. She also managed to stick her head through one of the bag’s handles.

I’m sure you can guess where this is going. But if you’d like to see for yourself (and I strongly recommend that you do), here’s the video. Please let me reassure you that Lila was not hurt in any way during this incident, except maybe her ego. I gave her a few Pounce treats once I stopped laughing, and she was immediately back to her normal, crazy self.

    ROTFL

I remember years ago one of our cats did almost the same thing. She got her head through the loop, but it didn’t come free for a while. Down the hall, into one room to the next. We tried to catch her to set her free, but couldn’t until she was hung up on some furniture, scared, but not hurt. The bag was in tatters.

    We laughed so hard.

    Was Lila all poofed up?

Lila’s hair is so short that she really can’t get all puffed up. Well, her tail gets kind of fat, but that’s about it. Cats are such a great source of entertainment.

Poor Lila (said through chuckles). If I ever need cheering up, I look at the cat videos on YouTube.

Give her an extra Pounce treat from Auntie Pam.

  4. Carat says:

Oh so funny, I love the “Was that you?” right at the end of the clip.

    Pam - You’re now Lila’s favorite Aunt. :)

Carat - That’s Tim. His concern is so cute, isn’t it?
